Fatal car accident on I-75 northbound leaves one dead

A fatal car accident on Interstate 75 left one person dead and two people in critical condition this past Sunday morning. The crash occurred near the Mitchell Avenue exit when Ashley Kelly, 22, lost control of her Dodge Journey and collided with a barrier wall. A second driver, James Harrison, 21, stopped on the freeway in a successful, yet feeble attempt to avoid Ms. Kelly's vehicle. Jason Woodyard, 41, was unable to stop, and ultimately collided with the other two vehicles.

Interstate 71 held up by animal fat caught on fire

A tractor-trailer carrying over forty thousand pounds of powdered animal fat created quite the mess this past Thursday evening in Walton, Kentucky. The tractor-trailer caught on fire around mile marker 75 on Interstate 71 northbound, shutting down the highway for multiple hours. The driver of the truck was able to safely separate the cab from the trailer, which housed the highly flammable animal fat powder.

Cyclist hit by truck in Sandusky, Ohio

A 14-year old tenn cyclist suffered severe injuries this past Sunday afternoon after colliding with a Ford F-150. The truck attempted to pass the teen cyclist as both were traveling westbound on Lockwood Road in Sandusky Ohio. The teen turned his bicycle in front of the truck, smacked the truck's windshield, and ultimately fell in the middle of the road.

Driver dies from Hanover Township car crash involving UC football players

Officials identified the driver of the vehicle from the Saturday evening crash that involved three UC football players. The driver was Sean VanDyne, an 18-year old freshman at Miami University and Hamilton native, who died at University Medical Center Monday evening.

The black 2009 Chevrolet, inhabited by three UC freshman football players and one Miami student, was traveling westbound on Stahlheber Road at its intersection with Morman Road when the car unexpectedly went off the road.
