Cyclist hit by truck in Sandusky, Ohio

A 14-year old tenn cyclist suffered severe injuries this past Sunday afternoon after colliding with a Ford F-150. The truck attempted to pass the teen cyclist as both were traveling westbound on Lockwood Road in Sandusky Ohio. The teen turned his bicycle in front of the truck, smacked the truck’s windshield, and ultimately fell in the middle of the road.

The crash is still under investigation by the Sandusky Highway Patrol. The teen was transported by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo. Neither the driver nor the passenger of the truck was injured.
