Many people in the Cincinnati area walk around their neighborhoods. Walking is great exercise and can be a good way to get places, like stores, banks, schools, etc. Most of the time, pedestrians are able to remain safe with drivers around them. A pedestrian was seriously injured recently in Warren County by a hit-and-run driver. The pedestrian was crossing the road near Kroger and Somerset Apartments on Terra Firma Drive in Deerfield Township. An eyewitness to the accident said that the man was hit, the car who hit him slowed down and then drove off.
Luckily, the eyewitness was able to call for help and calm the victim. A second person helped direct traffic around the accident. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he remains hospitalized with serious injuries. The Warren County Sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information regarding the crash to contact them.
