A crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck killed a 42-year-old Cincinnati man.

The collision occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on I-275 near Milford Parkway. A tractor trailer was traveling in the southbound lane when it struck a Chevrolet W4 Tiltmaster from behind.

The driver of the Chevrolet was ejected from the vehicle and found dead at the scene. A passenger in the Chevrolet was also injured. The driver of the semitrailer suffered only minor injuries.

According to authorities, the semi driver was following too close when the accident occurred.

It does not appear that drugs or alcohol played a role. An investigation remains underway.

A serious crash demands serious representation

Recovering from a serious car accident could take months or even years. The physical recovery, which often includes surgery and physical therapy, takes time, but the economic and financial recovery is often longer and more arduous.

Car accident victims may incur enormous medical debt after the crash; they may also lose their job if they’re unable to work because of their injuries.

Facing any of these challenges individually would be difficult but facing them all at once is overwhelming. However, victims don’t have to suffer in silence. If the accident was caused by negligence or wrongdoing, they can file a personal injury lawsuit against those responsible.

The first step is contacting an experienced personal injury lawyer. They can identify the evidence needed to win the case and launch a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.

Cincinnati residents shouldn’t hesitate to reach out. If cost is a concern, many lawyers offer a free initial consultation at no out-of-pocket cost to the client.
