Navigating crowded and congested roadways can be stressful and dangerous. It goes without saying that no person wants to be involved in a crash. However, statistics say that the vast majority of drivers will be involved in an accident at some point during their lives. As populations continue to increase in Ohio, car accidents seem to be happening more and more across the state.

Several people were injured in a recent crash involving two vehicles in Hartland Township. The accident happened at night at the intersection of Greenwich Milan Townline Road and Scranton Road. According to reports, the driver of an SUV was traveling north on Greenwich Milan Townline Road and failed to stop at the intersection. Reports said the SUV struck another SUV that was traveling east on Scranton Road.

Reportedly, the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway where the second SUV hit a fire hydrant and a tree before coming to rest. Authorities said both occupants of the second SUV were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. Reportedly, the driver of the SUV that ran the stop sign fled the scene. Police said a passenger in that vehicle suffered serious injuries.

This crash is just an example of the dangers that are present on roadways across the country. Drivers must remain focused and attentive at all times behind the wheel. Those in Ohio who have suffered injuries or loss due to negligence in car accidents may want to consider discussions with a legal representative. A successful lawsuit could result in much-needed to help victims and families through this difficult experience.
