Tragedy struck on an Ohio county road earlier this month. While not all car crashes and their corresponding injuries are preventable, this particular crash appears to have been. Preliminary reports are claiming that a distracted driver was the main factor behind the crash. A vehicle driven by the woman who has passed away was initially rear-ended by the alleged distracted driver.

The impact of the rear-end collision forced the woman’s vehicle left of center, where it then collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. A full investigation is currently being conducted by Highway State Patrol. Their findings will determine exactly what caused the woman’s car to be rear-ended.
