The personal injury legal process provides a resource for drunk driving accident victims to recover compensation for the damages they have suffered. Victims may be able to recover damages for medical expenses, lost wages and pain and suffering damages. It also provides remedies through the wrongful death legal process for family members of drunk driving accidents to recover compensation for the damages they have suffered. Damages depend on the circumstances and characteristics of the victim but can include medical and funeral expenses as well as others.

Because of the significant life changes victims of drunk driving accidents, and their families, may suffer, legal options are able to help them through the recovery process. It is important for victims of drunk driving accidents to be familiar with the useful resources valuable to them.
