Attorneys

Dori H. Thompson joined the firm in May 2008. She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 2005. She currently focuses on Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Labor and Employment Law, and Criminal Law.

Ms. Thompson earned her B.S. with Honors in Environmental Health Science with a Minor in English Literature from Eastern Kentucky University in 2001. She earned her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2005. Additionally, in 2008 she earned an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy focusing on Federal Criminal Defense from California Western Law School in San Diego, California.

During law school Ms. Thompson was an active Moot Court member winning various Intra-School competitions prior to competing nationally. For two years in a row she participated in the Robert Wagner Labor and Employment Law Competition at New York Law School coming in 6th nationally in 2004 and 2nd nationally in 2005. Ms. Thompson also served as Chief Justice for the board in 2004-2005, and earned several student awards including Moot Court Member of the Year and Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

Ms. Thompson is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. She also served on the Kentucky Young Lawyers Executive committee for 2006-2007. She is also admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.
